3 Months Down.

Holy Moly. My baby is 3 months old. It seems like she has been here forever. She changes so much every day and is noticeably older day to day. It's the strangest thing to literally see someone "Growing right before our very eyes." That is Taylor's favorite thing to say.
  • Kinley girl sleeps 9-12 hours straight a night. She's been a good sleeper for a long time, as in would wake up once, I would feed her, then she would go straight back to bed at night. But as of the last week and a half she has been consistently sleeping at least 9 hours straight. It's a beautiful thing. I'm grateful she's such a good sleeper, because it helps me out so much. And you seriously can't force a baby to do what this girl does. She basically put herself on a schedule and is usually asleep between 8 and 9:30 every night.
  • She is such a morning girl. I've said it before, but it's true. When she wakes up, she is so happy. I love it. And usually it's just me and her at that point, so I get her all to myself.
  • In the last 2 weeks she has been able to fall asleep on her own at night. As much as I miss rocking her to sleep, I know it's for the best that she can get herself to sleep.
  • We moved her into her own room. It was just time. Not because I wanted her out, but she just outgrew her cradle. I would wake up to her crying and her little head would be squished into the side railings. It was so sad. I miss her, but I love my sleep and not having to be super quiet when we are in our room. Haha.
  • After the stress of the funerals were over I stopped giving Kinley formula, but it seemed to us that she got pretty fussy. So one day when I was out of milk and she was still crying we gave her formula. And from that point she has just been a happy little baby. I give her 1-2 bottles a day of formula and it has made all the difference giving her the extra food. Poor little girl was food deprived. I guess my supply just couldn't keep up cuz this girl has gotten SUPER chunky.
  • Kinley took her first trip to California. She didn't cry when we put her feet in the sand or the (cold) water, so that was a plus. I'll love it when she can enjoy being there more.
  • We also took her to her first baseball game (Angels vs. Twins). She held up pretty well and even got a little nap in. Too bad I forgot to get a picture. Oh well.
  • She loves bath time and just likes showers. If I put her back towards the water and move her up to the shower head I can usually get a great big smile, but she still likes baths more. I only hold her head up in the bath and the rest of her just floats. She is at home in the water and so relaxed.
  • We put her in the bouncer for the first time, but she hasn't quite figured it out yet. But when she is standing and I hold her, she loves to bounce. I just don't think she likes to be left alone.
  • I can lay her down while I do something, but the second she sees me walk out of the room she will start crying. Lol.
  • She loves to spit. Really she is trying to play with her tongue like we do, but it just comes out as spitting. And right now it's cute! Haha. So we enjoy it.
  • A week and a half ago she giggled for the first time and it was just so stinking cute! Can't wait to capture that on camera. She doesn't really laugh consistently at things, so it just happens when you least expect it. But since she's laughed, I now recognize the noise she was always making that was developing her laugh...if that makes sense.
  • Speaking of which, every time we pull the camera out to catch something cute, she stops immediately and just stares at the camera. Such a curious little thing.
  • She weighs 15 pounds and is 24 inches long? Actually, we don't really know how long she is. We couldn't find a tape measure (we're on vacation). So Taylor was trying to use a ruler, while she was sleeping. Haha. Oh well, we will get it next month. And she is in size 1 diapers still and 0-3 month clothes.

I just can't stand their cuteness.

Instead of bouncing it is her chew toy.

First swim on the 4th of July.

Hiking and sleeping!

In Cali (I need to take more pictures with her, this is my only one in the last month)

Love her!
Enjoying her feet in the sand.
As you can see she is always trying to talk to us now. And she's gotten a lot steadier sitting up.

Doesn't she just look more grown up?! I can't stand it. She's getting cuter by the second.

Kinleys 1st 4th

This 4th of July we were at my parent's house. It's been at least 3 years since I've spent a 4th of July with my family. I love 4th of July with my family, a few pictures to help explain...
I have to post this as a reminder to always take the picture BEFORE I get my hair wet. YUCK! But, I debated for a while on whether I was going to take Kinley swimming since she was only 2 months old, but in the end I couldn't resist. She loves bath time, so I figured a few minutes in the pool wouldn't hurt her. Plus she was sporting that cute hat!

Anyway, we love to swim and the pool was 90 degrees! It was WONDERFUL! Also, we love to kiss our cute little girl :)

We were happy to have Melissa join us as well as her new puppy.

Lots of family and lounging around.

Not to mention my parents beautiful yard! It's dreamy back there.

And little ones running around like mad and using the doggie door instead of the people door. Haha.
More family! What can I say? I love my family! Grandma was a trooper. Next time we will get her in the pool.

Also some entertainment. Meghan singing and playing the song my mom wrote. Watch out everybody, it's going to be a hit..well, as big of a hit as an LDS song can be.
Homemade ice cream. Straight from heaven. If I was a good homemaker I would never buy ice cream again. But alas, I'm too lazy.

Kinley was exhausted! She put herself right to sleep. I think that is the first time it's ever happened.
"Show me your fireworks Camden!" --err not like that. Haha.

Cuties.

Even cutiers ;)

The whole gang.

Daddy lighting the fireworks! Thanks for the good show papa!

Seriously it's pretty.

We also had a nice view of the big firework show.

Ultimately it was lots of fun. The only downside is it gets dark way too late for fireworks. Also, when I put my baby to bed at like 11 I was so annoyed by the people shooting off illegal fireworks! Go inside and stop waking me up!!! Serious, but other than that we had a good time and I look forward to more homemade ice cream. I took these pictures mostly to send to Dallin in case he was missing all of us beauties.
