Happy 1st Birthday Tyson!

Tyson turned 1! Life has been CRAZY around here the last few weeks. So I am just sitting down for this. Late. Lame. I hate being lame about these things. But on the plus side, the day of his birthday we were busy celebrating and having fun with him, so I was distracted by actually being with him. I think that's better than writing his blog anyway.

  • I've said it before, but it is very true. Tyson LOVES to eat and drink. I canNOT sneak food into my mouth EVER without him whining and whining. I mean he seriously pouts if someone is eating without him. He's funny. And of course, that means he will eat anything and everything. Except avocados. He will still eat them, but he will gag them the whole way down.
  • Tyson isn't walking, but on his first birthday I got him to take maybe a step. Haha. I think it proves just how much he loves being held.
  • He loves playing in the bath time.
  • He loves his family super much much. He loves playing with kinley. He loves when his daddy comes home. And he loves being able to see his mommy at all times.
  • Tyson was in the 95th percentile for weight at his 1st year checkup, and he was in the 75th percentile for height. He is one BIG dude.
  • Tyson is super ticklish, and he is easy to get a big laugh at...but if you tickle him too much he just might start crying. So be careful.
  • He sleeps 13 hours a night and takes a solid 3 hour nap. Oh my word. It is HEAVEN! Although, there are some days that I feel like I haven't even been able to hang out with him much because of it.
  • Tyson LOVES loves loves to fake choke. Just a week before his 1st birthday he literally was choking. Tay had to hit him on the back 5 times before the food popped out and it was scary! But since then, he is always fake choking. It is so strange. And then once he sees a reaction out of us he will just start laughing. Stinker!
Well that is it. Tyson is a little BIG ball of pure love. He brings so much happiness to our family. I can't imagine life without him. I am excited to see him grow and learn new things as he gets older and see what an awesome brother he will continue to be!
