Tyson 3 Months

Not sure why, but it seemed like this month passed by so slowly. It was fun, but I kept checking the calendar thinking FOR SURE I had missed his 3 month mark.

  • The beginning of January he slept a five hour stretch, I was so happy that night cuz he only woke up once. But it didn't stick. He has been waking up less and getting better about that, but I still can't seem to get enough sleep.
  • His smiles are adorable. He doesn't do it a crazy ton, but when he does, I just love it. His smile is HUGE!
  • He loves to watch his sister play. He's always cranking his neck to see what she is doing.
  • When we are talking to him, he will try to talk back. But it seriously takes his whole body to do it. It's like it starts in his toes and works itself all the way up to his mouth for him to formulate any type of noise. It's hilarious.
  • He is still incredibly cuddly. He loves to fall asleep on me, and quite frankly I enjoy it too. He loves to be held.
  • He HATES the car seat. I'm not really used to that. But the second he gets set in the carseat his lips starts quivering and he gives me this horrified, wide open eyes, look like, "Are you going to trap me in here forever!?"
  • He is falling asleep on his own better, which is super wonderful. But I still love to help him to sleep.
  • He got moved into his crib for the first part of the night, and then the rest of the night he is in with us. I was nervous at first to do this since he and kinley are in the same room and I didn't want them waking each other up. But so far it has gone well.
  • He has found his fingers this month, like really found them. And he is trying so hard to stuff his whole fist in his mouth at all times.

Two month Tyson

This is definitely late. But I took the picture on time and just did not ever have time to sit down and write about my sweet little love bug, Tyson!

Tyson is so lovable and squishy and I love to kiss him. Obviously.

I have to admit that it is so much harder to just sit and enjoy the second one. I don't get to just sit and hold and stare and talk to him all day long like I did to Kinley. It makes me sad. But he fares just fine without me.

During his second month he started to refuse the pacifier a little more. He knows when he is hungry and he knows when he does NOT want that pacifier.

Tyson celebrated his 1st Christmas, which wasn't much since he basically already has everything he needs, but it was wonderful to have him around this Christmas and really helped me to think more about Mary and Jesus during his birth.

He got RSV and thankfully was able to avoid the hospital. It was so not fun to listen to his poor little coughing fits that brought him so much pain, but I was happy he was able to recover quickly from it.

Tyson rolled over for the first time...from his front to his back. I'm pretty sure it was a fluke, but I watched him do it and it was amazing. Lol.

He goos and gahs. And it is so fun listening to him talk. He hardly smiles at all, but occasionally he does do it.

He took his first vacation, which was to California to see his Uncle Andrew give his homecoming talk.

He loves cuddling still. We may have trouble getting him to sleep in his own bed, but right now I am enjoying staring at his beautiful face while I fall asleep. This moments I am filled with so much love and gratitude for my little baby boy. I LOVE HIM!

I almost forgot, not sure how, but he got blessed on December 21st. He was a wonderful little guy during his blessing (Thank you pacifier). And it is so sweet to hear the blessings Heavenly has in store for his children. Unfortunately I forgot my camera that day, so all the pictures are on my brother in laws camera...so pictures pending.

Seriously why do kids have to grow up so fast?! I just want to be able to cuddle and kiss him forever. I hope he lets me.

Here are his pictures.
