Kinley is 8 months!

Kinley is now an 8 month old as of the 24th. I failed last month to update, but we will just pretend that never happened. She has changed lots and lots.
  • Just before 7 months she started scooting a little, but we could never convince her that crawling would actually be useful. She was content to just sit but I knew she could crawl. Then one day Taylor made me breakfast in bed and I had my plate of eggs sitting there innocently when next thing I know Kinley's getting a big ole handful. Sneaky girl. Turns out, food is her weakness. She LOVES it (in case you couldn't tell by her adorable chubs).
  • There still aren't many things worthy of her effort to crawl, but food is definitely on the list, along with the piano. That being said, she would much rather stand than crawl. She has been pulling herself up on everything. No matter how tall or short, she will use it to stand up. I kid you not, she tries to use books (that are only a half an inch of the ground) to try and stand up. It's hilarious. Her cute little bum is always in the air.
  • She loves all things food. We basically don't feed her too much baby food. She just gets whatever we are eating. Life has been easier that way, and a lot cheaper.
  • She is the happiest little baby around. I cannot go anywhere without people stopping me and wanting to just stare at her and comment about how wonderful she is. She is just a people person. She loves people! And I love that she loves people. The other day we were out to eat and she was just having a nice little chat with the lady in line for a good 10 minutes. It's unreal how friendly she is.
  • She recently started waking up in the middle of the night again, only for us to discover it was a yeast infection. But it is gone, and sleeping is restored. :)
  • She still loves music! Always dancing and having a good time. Last Sunday we were in primary and when the piano started she was just dancing away. All the primary kids and teachers got a good laugh about it.
  • Taylor just reminded me that when she is crawling she makes these very deep breaths. It's so loud. But I love it. She is always making me laugh!
  • She also loves to bounce and her Grandpa Ball calls her "tigger" because she gets so into it.
  • She met santa for the first time and LOVED him. As I said, she is a people person. So it wasn't really that surprising.  But totally adorable.

Trying to stand.
Crawling!
They're crazy! And I laughed at this.

She loves daddy time. And he loves "Littles" time!

First Christmas!
