The 5th month...in which time flew by WAY too fast. Before I knew it she was 5 months old. This time more literally than in previous times I've said it. Explanation: For about the last week when strangers have asked how old she is I've said, "Almost 5 months." Then I was sitting there one day and I realized..."Oh wait, she actually IS 5 months." Yup. That's how fast it went. She had already been 5 months for a WHOLE day before I realized it. Lol. But here it is a few days late.
- Kinley quite enjoys sucking on her bottom lip. I usually pull on it when I notice but it's still cute.
- She took her first trip to Provo/Salt Lake/Bountiful. Overall I would say she did pretty spectacular. More spectacular than I could have imagined. She did whine and cry and the trip there took a little longer than the trip back, but I still consider us a couple of blessed parents.
- She is sitting up all on her own. She does super well! I still make sure there is something soft behind her because she always seems to fall backwards.
- At the beginning of this month I noticed how much more curious she is about the world around her. She is always looking around and just checking everything out. Her eyes are WIDE open.
- She gut laughs. SO CUTE!
- And we started her on rice cereal. She doesn't quite know how to get it to the back of her throat, but she's working hard at it.
- This little one is always chewing on things and is always slobbering. That isn't an understatement. Lol. As soon as her hands are on something, you betcha it's in her mouth.
- This girl is dainty. She always has her hands out like a little princess. It is hilarious.
- She is also playing with her legs a lot, as can be seen in the picture.
- Lastly, she is almost always smiling. I say almost, because she ain't perfect. But I think she's as close as you can get. I know a lot of it is temperament...but I can't help but believe that part of it is just because I'm her mom and always talking to her and making her laugh :)
