Injuries, Pictures, Pies...that's life!

I haven't written in almost a month. How could I? I'd say I was pretty busy...but that's probably a cop-out. In reality it may just have to do with the fact that truly nothing interesting has happened in the last little bit combined with little time (and when I do have time, I would rather watch a tv show). So here it goes. Since my last post was about my knee I will do a quick update: I am going to physical therapy 3 times a week. He says that I probably hurt my patella really bad as well as my MCL. So those 2 things are giving me a little bit of trouble these days. It had been getting better, not noticing as much pain, but yesterday I woke up and it was NOT doing well. Lame! The only reason I am irritated that my knee still isn't working properly is because I WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL FOR TURKEY DAY! But it seems that is just too much to ask for this year. Lame again! Oh well, I might just sneak in a few games for Thanksgiving without letting my PT know about it (He already told me I am not to be trusted...he doesn't think I can simply not play competitive sports...it's in my blood, and on my mind). Anywho, that is all with that.

Other things: I have done 2 picture sessions in the last month! YAYAYA! One was with my cousin, I did their family pictures (And then ended up announcing their pregnancy with the pictures, Maybe I'll post?) But either way, CONGRATS Mayer family. The other pictures I took were for a gal in my ward. Her baby is sooo cute! I was incredibly delighted to take her pictures. They had wonderful picture ideas and I think they turned out amazing!

I also made my first ever homemade banana cream pie. If you know me, baking was never at the top of my skills list when I was younger. In fact, it wasn't near the middle either. I was TERRIBLE at it. I ruined everything I touched...I always found a way. Forgetting to half all ingredients, skipping a step, doing something too early/too late, forgetting an ingredient completely, the list goes on and on. So now that I am actually getting better, I am overjoyed! This pie turned out wonderfully. Me and Tay both really enjoyed it, so now I am going to make one for Thanksgiving next week. YAY!

Lots of pictures! But you know pictures are my weakness. Feedback is always wonderful. Thanks Mayers and Blacks for letting me take your pictures!
Share with your friends! :) haha.
