The 11th month

My little baby will be 1 next month. A little hard to wrap my head around. I couldn't decide what picture this month. The girl is sweet and sour. She will scowl and give you serious faces to no end, and then she'll bust out a huge grin and laugh her head off for ya. She's cuddly one moment and the next wiggling and fighting to get out of your hands...just to want you to pick her up again.

  • She got 2 more teeth this month (her top two). With her right one just barely popping out before the end of the month.
  • She's walking all over the place. Her main source of transportation is first, me. Then crawling, but she's getting walking up there. She starts out walking and depending on her mood after she has fallen will get back up and do it again or just crawl really fast to whatever she was trying to do.
  • She is not super interested in her milk these days and would much rather beg everyone for food or have a plate set in front of her to munch down herself.
  • She loves to play with Kinley and Tyson (Perhaps sometimes to their dismay).
  • She loves to swing and throws such a pouty fit when she is removed from said swing.
  • Recently we have gotten into a routine of bedtime at 6:30 and waking up at 6:30. Its awesome.
  • She also loves the water, so I think this summer she is going to have lots of fun.
  • Church, however, is not so much fun cuz it's the constant up and down and wanting to move around and being tired and hungry. Luckily, 99% of the time Taylor takes her the last 2 hours of church because by that point, I have reached my mental limit with crazy kids at church.
  • Sadie tries to copy our words, and others have confirmed she says "hello" so I am more convinced than when I, as her mom, think she is saying it. Haha.
We love our little sadie babes!!!!

The 10th Month of Sadie

Sadie is a little cutie.
Still as attached to her momma as ever.
Loves drinking out of a straw.
Taking wobbly steps. And really it is more like a quick (very, very quick) jog. ;)
Gives kisses and loves to be kissed on.
She got her first tooth in. Her bottom left front tooth.
She waves and loves to flirt with the old man behind us in church.
She is snuggly and loves to be held.
She enjoys sucking her thumb just like her older siblings.
Enjoys climbing up the stairs, is scared to come down. She disappears sometimes and then we hear her whining at the top step trying to get people's attention to get her down.

Sadie is 9 Months

Sadie is 9 months and my favorite little 9 month old is she. So happy and smiley and giggly! But also so serious and observant. She hates the ball pit we got this month. So that's exciting. ;)

  • Sadie's first little tooth barely popped through on Saturday. I can feel the sharp part but can't see it. That's how little it has come through. But also she loves to wiggle her tongue around so it makes it hard.
  • She's eating baby food and big food and I just started her drinking out of a sippy cup instead of a bottle.
  • She loves to follow around kinley and tyson and wants to do everything they do.
  • She loves to eat dirt in the backyard and pretend to help daddy with his garden.
  • She is such a good little traveler in the walker around by herself.
  • She loves to bite people's chins (hello teething).
  • Sadie loves to take baths and showers and play in the water.
  • She is getting into everything and super curious about stuff. She is super fast at crawling.
  • Her favorite activity is still being held by her mommy. :)
  • She's a sweet little angel babe and we love her so!

8 Months of Sweet little Sadie

Baby girl hit 8 months yesterday!

  • She had only fallen down the stairs once, but then today upped it to two...so we are working on that baby gate thing.
  • She loves nothing more than to be held all day long by her momma. It can be extremely tiring...but what can I say...I'm a pretty lovable person. ;)
  • Taking two naps a day.
  • Sleeping through the night. About 10-11 hours. 7:30-6:00. It's been heavenly.
  • Sadie has started following her siblings around (during the times when she lets me put her on the ground). And it is funny to watch her get excited when she see someones and take off really "FAST." She's got a super cute determined little face.
  • She made a trip to California 3 hours there and 3 hours back and she was a perfect little angel. I think we will have to start driving more because she cries much less in the car than out of it. Haha.
  • A few days ago Sadie acquired a nasty little cough where it sounds like she is choking and her face turns really red. We are hoping that goes away here real soon.
  • Still no teeth for this girl. Perhaps this next month?
  • Bath time is something she really enjoys and cries when she gets taken out. It's super cute.
  • Her daddy says her eyes change colors...mostly I just think they are silver. Lol.
  • If you can distract her with a toy she will stand up unassisted for ya.
  • She went swimming for the first time this month!
That's all! Life is fun and crazy and slow and fast all at the same time. :)

Grandma Waters made her that Valentine shirt.
Beauty Queen.

A Sadie Babes of 7 Months

  • Sadie babes started crawling like crazy this month and also pulling herself up on everything.
  • She's itching to walk, you can see it in her eyes. Taking a few steps with the walker.
  • She enjoys chasing her brother and sister in circles around the table and all over the house.
  • She has become quite the momma's girl. She will be playing nice and content until she sees me and immediately starts crying. I have to be stealthy while I'm trying to get chores done.
  • She is self feeding a bit, it's a nice distraction for her to master while I can't hold her or feed her while cooking. Haha.
  • She loves the vacuum it would seem. She follows that vacuum around, constantly getting in my way. Lol. It's pretty cute.
  • She is starting to get used to being clobbered and mauled constantly by her siblings...although she's still not the biggest fan of that. I can't blame her.
  • She enjoys sitting in the shower with me, cuddles & snuggles, lots and lots of kisses. No joke she gets a big ol' grin across her face when she's getting squishy kisses.
  • She's sleeping better although, you can pretty much guarantee that she'll wake up sometime between 3:30 and 4. We go in, calm her down, she falls back asleep and then wakes up about 6. I just don't know how to get her to not wake up...we aren't feeding her or changing a diaper between at 3:30, but still she is constantly waking up. Odd.
  • And speaking of sleep, I'm pretty certain she needs the least sleep out of all the kids. She goes to bed later, wakes up earlier, sometimes struggles to nap, and while her siblings fall asleep in the car, she's just chit chatting the whole journey. Lol. Goodness gracious girl.
  • She's getting more formula these days...probably about half and half. She is much happier since we've made that change. YAY!
Good lounging right there.

Always at my feet
Wanting to be held.

Sadie's Half Birthday

Sadie is 6 months. HAPPY HALF BIRTHDAY! We did absolutely nothing special for the occasion. Just the way we like it ;) Lol. But really, what do you do for a baby's half birthday?! Okay So this month has been fun.

  • Sadie started getting up and rocking on her hands and knees at the very beginning of the month and she was so ready to start crawling. She was moving all over the place, but it wasn't really purposeful, just wherever her little body would move.
  • The day before she turned 6 months she started pulling herself towards objects and it was awesome! She's so stinking strong. It's  not a true crawl yet, because she falls down between each movement. Haha.
  • She also started sitting up this past month.
  • She wants to be right in on the action with her siblings.
  • She started waking up like 6 times a night (NOT an exaggeration), and it felt like death. UGH. The other two never did this, so it's hard. I realize I may be spoiled where that's concerned, but I really need her to go back to sleeping. :)
  • She enjoys applesauce and rice cereal and drinking the smoothies we make in the morning out of a straw. It's so dang cute.
  • She stopped throwing up completely without her medication last week, but then started again. I'm not sure what to think about that.

  • Sadie is 55% for weight and 74% for height. Such a huge step from her 2 month appointment when she was in the 10th for weight.
  • She's happy these days and such a delight to kiss on. SHE LOVES BEING KISSED. :)

Love this little cutie, full of smiles and curiosity. She is a people person and loves everyone...but she REALLY loves her mommy.

That stare down though (Quite common)

Adored!

A Sadie of 5 Months

My little love bug
  • LOVES everyone. Smiles and adores and watches.
  • She watches wherever brother and sister go.
  • She is laughing for us on occasion, and it's just the best.
  • She gets up on her hands and Knees. Today I even caught her planking!
  • She has taken to some spitting up episodes recently, but still happier than ever with her Acid Reflux medication.
  • She loves nursing and cuddling in bed and waking up ready to go for the day at 5:30, much to my disapproval.
  • Her favorite toy is her feet.
  • She's scooting (minorly), and rolling like crazy. You don't always find her in the same place you put her.
  • She's drooling like crazy too. I think she has a few teeth that are ready to make their debut soon!
  • I LOVE her eyes. Today they look silver. Other days, I don't even know. They're just beautiful though.
  • She loves being held or sitting up in the bumbo.

She's acting too old and I don't like it. Where have the last 5 months gone?! Breaks my heart, but I love it at the same time. I know I always say it, but it is true. Some stages just don't last long enough.

P.s. You'll probably see her in these overalls a lot. It is my favorite outfit of hers right now. :)

1st Halloween
Her size dollhouse.

Loves getting her hair combed.
Sleepy sleepy.

Happy 2nd Birthday Tyson!

My boy. 2 years old. This kid has a very special place in my heart. Probably because I feel like I make a better "Boy mom" than "girl mom." I'm a work in progress.

I almost titled this post "The boy who feels, Happy Birthday Tyson!" I went back and forth on it. But here I am explaining away. When I see Tyson playing, and interacting with people I can tell he just feels so much! He's got so much in him and he's trying to get it all out. He's very wild moment, and calm and cuddly the next. He can go from smacking everything and throwing things (just because he thinks its fun) to loving and hugging and kissing everyone in the next moment. He feels. The whole ray of emotions. I love it! He's probably the most like me that I can tell thus far.

He's unpredictable and independent. I never know if it's going to be one of those times where he begs and begs for me to hold him or hold his hand and won't walk until it happens, or if it will be one of those times where I can't get him to hold my hand even with some of my best convincing and pleading. Haha.

He always has something in his mouth. Whether it be his fingers, his toys, his shirt, or some food. It is funny.

Things I love about Tyson:

  • I love the way he says "Thank you momma" after I have given him a compliment. It just feels so sincere.
  • I love when he squeezes my cheeks and gives me kisses.
  • I love how when he tells me things it is with such emotion and deepness. I can hardly explain it, but he really lets you know how he feels. :)
  • I love that he talks so well. It makes it really fun to enjoy his whole personality.
  • I love that he loves his sisters.
  • I love that he tries to be so helpful all the time.
  • I love that he sucks his thumb and strokes his eye just like his big sister.
  • I love watching him dance and be silly.
  • I love when he and Kinley laugh really hard for a long time together.
  • I love when he wants to fall asleep next to me in my bed.
  • I love that he loves to eat. Haha.
  • I love that he will choose to sit and relax watching a book over doing almost anything else.
  • I love hearing him sing church songs and nursery rhymes.
  • I love hearing him pray.
  • I love his fire and zest and sweetness!!!!

This boy is just all around lovely and wonderful. We are working on the no biting thing. ;)

Love you little Tyse-Tyse baby (sing to 'ice-ice baby'). Thanks for picking me.

    NB & 1-2 yrs!
